What we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily provide:

• Email address when you sign up for state launch notifications or contact an officiant through the site.
• State selection when you sign up for launch notifications, so we can tell you when your state is live.
• Message content when you message an officiant through a profile page.

We also collect standard web analytics (pages viewed, referring site, approximate location at the country level, device type). This is aggregated and not tied to your identity.

How we use it

• To notify you when a marriage license guide for your state launches.
• To route your inquiry to the officiant you messaged.
• To understand which pages are useful and which need improvement.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't share your email with officiants unless you message them directly.
• We don't track you across other sites.
• We don't run advertising or retargeting on this site.

Third parties

We use Cloudflare to host and deliver this site. We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. These services receive technical information (IP address, browser type) but not your personal information unless you submit it via a form.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify anyone on the launch notification list.
